Our commitment extends far beyond simple procurement: we work in direct relationship with the families, artisans and medicine keepers who prepare these blends, ensuring they are fairly and adequately compensated for their work. This reflects our deep respect for their ancestral knowledge and supports the continuity of their cultural heritage. Each batch is meticulously formulated following traditional methods and the profound wisdom of the sacred dieta, honouring the pace and ritual that these preparations require so that every product carries the right energy for a grounded, transformative spiritual experience. In our pursuit of environmental stewardship, we use simple paper zip bags for packaging — a conscious choice that reduces plastic and unnecessary waste while keeping the focus on quality, freshness and integrity rather than over-branding. Walking in Relationship With the Forest and Its Peoples

 

Urban Healing exists thanks to the trust and generosity of the indigenous peoples who share their cultural practices with us. We see ourselves as bridges between urban seekers and ancient forest lineages, doing everything we can to honour, protect and support those traditions. Our Rapé blends come from several tribes and ethnic groups of the Brazilian Amazon, each carrying its own history, songs, cosmology and way of working with the forest.

 

Nukini

 

Many of our Rapé blends are made by the Nukini people, a relatively small indigenous group in the state of Acre. The Nukini are known for their intimate relationship with the forest and deep plant knowledge, often transmitted through strong feminine lineages — mothers, grandmothers and daughters preserving the remedies. Their Rapé is refined, clear and energetically precise, reflecting both the strength and sensitivity of their forest environment.

 

Yawanawá

 

Our Tsunu Yawanawá Rapé comes from the Yawanawá, who live along the Gregório River. For them, Rapé (Rume) is central to ritual life and spiritual training, used for cleansing, grounding, prayer and alignment with forest teachings. Tsunu, one of their classical ashes, embodies peace, balance and clarity, forming part of a living tradition where music, prayer and plant knowledge form a unified path.

 

Huni Kuin (Kaxinawá)

 

Some of our blends, such as Cumaru Rapé, come from the Huni Kuin — one of the largest tribes in Acre, self-identified as “the true people.” Their culture is rich in visionary art, sacred songs and profound knowledge of forest plants. Their Rapé is strong, earthy and deeply grounding, helping reconnect the user to body, earth and the wider web of life.

 

Apurinã

 

Our Apurinã Awiry Rapé originates from the Apurinã people along the Purus River. Their unique Awiry blend, often made with little or no added herbs, is prepared from the Awiry plant and carries a gentle, subtle and plant-forward character. For the Apurinã, this preparation is a way to connect with the forest, plant spirits and a delicate level of perception — ideal for refined, quiet ceremonial work.

 

Yanomami

 

Some of our Rapé, such as Paricá and Pau Pereira, come from the Yanomami, one of the best-known and spiritually profound peoples of the Amazon. Living across remote regions of Brazil and Venezuela, the Yanomami prepare strong visionary blends made from forest seeds and barks. These preparations support ancestral communication, deep spiritual journeys and traditional ritual practices.

Unsere Arbeit geht weit über den Kauf hinaus: Wir pflegen direkte Beziehungen zu den Familien, Kunsthandwerkerinnen und Hüterinnen der Pflanzenmedizin und stellen sicher, dass sie fair und angemessen entlohnt werden. So würdigen wir ihr traditionelles Wissen und tragen zur Bewahrung ihrer kulturellen Identität bei. Jede Rapé-Mischung wird mit Hingabe nach traditionellen Methoden und im Geist der heiligen Diéta hergestellt und trägt dadurch die Energie des Waldes sowie die Gebete und Erfahrungen vieler Generationen. Um Plastik und unnötigen Abfall zu vermeiden, verwenden wir einfache Papierbeutel — eine bewusste Entscheidung, die den Fokus auf Reinheit, Frische und Integrität legt. Achtsamer Ressourceneinsatz prägt nicht nur unser Geschäftsmodell, sondern auch unseren persönlichen Lebensstil und stärkt eine respektvolle Beziehung zur Natur und den Gemeinschaften, mit denen wir arbeiten.

Urban Healing existiert dank des Vertrauens der indigenen Völker, die ihre kulturellen Praktiken mit uns teilen. Unsere Rapé-Mischungen stammen aus verschiedenen Stämmen des brasilianischen Amazonas, von denen jeder seine eigene Geschichte, Kosmologie und Pflanzenpraxis einbringt.

 

Nukini

 

Viele unserer Rapés werden vom Nukini-Volk aus Acre hergestellt, das für seine tiefe Pflanzenkenntnis und seine starken weiblichen Wissenslinien bekannt ist. Ihre Rapés sind klar, subtil und energetisch präzise — perfekt für meditative und feinere innere Prozesse.

Apurinã

 

Das Awiry-Rapé der Apurinã basiert auf der Awiry-Pflanze und ist sanft, klar und subtil. Es eignet sich für Menschen, die eine feinere, pflanzenbezogene Zeremonialarbeit suchen.

 

Yanomami
